Electronics: This segment delivers critical components for the electronics industry, including hard disks, SiC epitaxial wafers for power devices, compound semiconductors (LED chips), and lithium-ion battery (LIB) materials. These components are essential for the development and manufacture of electronic devices, energy storage solutions, and lighting systems.
Inorganics: In the Inorganics segment, Resonac offers graphite electrodes and ceramics such as alumina and abrasives. These materials are crucial for the production of steel and aluminum, as well as for various applications in electronics and manufacturing.
Aluminum: The Aluminum segment produces rolled products including high-purity foils for capacitors; specialty components like cylinders for laser beam printers, extrusions, forged products, and heat exchangers; and beverage cans. Showa Denko Materials: This segment specializes in electronics materials, including epoxy molding compounds, die bonding materials, CMP slurries, and anisotropic conductive films; printed wiring boards materials like copper-clad laminates and photosensitive dry films; mobility components such as plastic molded products and friction materials; energy storage devices and systems, including automotive and industrial batteries; and diagnostics and regenerative medicine products, along with contracted manufacturing activities. Others: The Others segment encompasses the provision of building materials and engages in general trading business. This segment aims to address the diverse needs of the construction and trading sectors by offering quality materials and comprehensive trade solutions.
