Target allocations is a great way to meet your allocation targets within your portfolio. For example, if you have 2 holdings which you wish to set at exact ratios, let’s say 70% and 30%, this can be a tedious task to keep track of as well as calculate each and every day to make sure you’re not deviating from your plan – imagine doing this for 30 different holdings every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With our Target Allocation feature, this is a completely automated method and requires no manual calculation from your end. You only need to configure the target allocation once and it will automatically show you the difference from the current allocation in terms of %, money cost and even quantity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Holding<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the most straight forward method and is included with the free plan, allowing you to track allocation by direct holding, ie allocation will be calculated entirely on your current holdings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a more advanced method and is suitable for investors looking to track allocation based on their holding categories’. The automatic categories can be any of the 3 you see in your portfolio: Cap, Industry and Sector. Choosing a type will automatically apply the available categories based on your holdings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
