Hindalco-backed aluminum recycling company Novelis has postponed its U.S. listing of over $900 million, citing market conditions.
Novelis is targeting a valuation of up to $12.6 billion in its US stock market, the maker of aluminum products revealed on Tuesday. A subsidiary of Hindalco Industries, Novelis is the world's largest rolled aluminum sheet producer, with customers including Coca-Cola, Ford and Jaguar Landrover.
Aluminum-recycling company Novelis Inc. said Tuesday it plans to offer 45 million shares at an estimate price range of $18 to $21 a share in its upcoming initial public offering. At the midpoint of the price range, Atlanta-based Novelis will raise about $877.5 million in the IPO with underwriters Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities and Citigroup.
Novelis, owned by Indian billionaire Kumar Mangalam Birla's Hindalco Industries , is targeting a valuation of up to $12.6 billion in its initial public offering in the United States, the aluminum products maker said on Tuesday.
