Trade in Slovenia equals about 120% of GDP (exports and imports combined). Slovenia exports mostly motor vehicles, furniture and household electrical equipment, pharmaceutical products and clothes. The country imports machinery and transport equipment, manufactured goods, chemicals, fuels and lubricants and food. European Union (Germany, Austria, Italy and France) is by far its largest trading partner accounting for about 71% of exports and 79% of imports.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
