  • Energy Storage:

    This segment delivers lithium compounds like lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, and lithium chloride. It also provides technical services for the safe handling and usage of reactive lithium products, in addition to recycling services for lithium-containing by-products. These offerings play a crucial role in supporting the demanding energy storage market.

  • Specialties:

    In this segment, Albemarle offers bromine-based specialty chemicals, including elemental bromine, various bromides, brominated powdered activated carbon, and other fine chemicals. It also features lithium specialties such as butyllithium and lithium aluminum hydride, and develops and manufactures cesium products for chemical and pharmaceutical applications. Furthermore, this segment provides zirconium, barium, and titanium products designed for use in pyrotechnical applications including airbag initiators, serving diverse markets from construction to pharmaceuticals.
