BlackRock TCP Capital's NAV has declined for four consecutive quarters, and the recent dividend cut reflects poor earnings and elevated non-accruals. Despite a high dividend yield of 11.9%, the risk of continued underperformance makes TCPC an unattractive investment. TCPC's portfolio strategy includes a high concentration in technology and significant exposure to first lien senior secured debt, but earnings are still declining.
