Germany's Lufthansa wants to increase profitability at its core brand next year after it is set to return to the black this year, Lufthansa Airlines' CEO Jens Ritter said on Thursday.
China's state oil trader Unipec, a vehicle of refining giant Sinopec Corp , has signed a term deal to supply about 60,000 metric tons of jet fuel to Lufthansa annually, Sinopec said on Monday.
The news comes a day after Air France-KLM said it submitted a bid to purchase a stake in TAP.
