Serbia on Thursday signed a landmark agreement with France's Dassault Aviation for the purchase of an undisclosed number of Rafale fighter jets.
French planemaker Dassault Aviation reported on Tuesday first half adjusted net sales of 2.54 billion euros ($2.76 billion), up from 2.30 billion euros over the same period last year.
Aerospace and defense budgets are expanding globally, but industry underperformance is driven by cost overruns and supply chain challenges. Dassault Aviation offers exposure to fighter jets and business jets, with a promising market share in business jets and growth potential in defense programs. Despite challenging 2023 results, Dassault Aviation stock is undervalued compared even at depressed valuation multiples, making it a strong buy with potential for growth in Falcon and defense segments.
