The three major US indices that I follow here at FX Empire all look a touch soft in the premarket, as the indices have been a bit overdone. At this point, the markets in general look bullish, but no market goes straight up in the air.
Q2 2025 U.S. common dividend increases were $9.8 billion, down 49.8% from $19.5 billion in Q1 2025 and down 52.1% from $20.4 billion in Q2 2024. Q2 2025 U.S. common dividend decreases were $2.3 billion, down 44.0% from $4.2 billion in Q1 2025, and down 46.8% from $4.4 billion in Q2 2024.
Chemicals company Dow will shut down three upstream plants in Europe and cut around 800 jobs in response to structural challenges in the region, it said on Monday.
