The BNY Mellon Core Plus ETF aims to deliver robust total returns while simultaneously safeguarding capital. To achieve this, the fund predominantly allocates its investments to a diverse array of fixed-income instruments. This encompasses sovereign debt, corporate bonds issued by both U.S. and international entities, as well as mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. At the time of purchase, the majority of the fund's bond holdings possess an investment-grade rating (equivalent to Baa3/BBB- or higher), or are determined by the sub-adviser to be of comparable quality if unrated. Nonetheless, the fund retains the flexibility to invest a maximum of 25% of its net assets in bonds rated below investment grade – commonly referred to as "high yield" or "junk" bonds – or their unrated equivalents, as assessed by the sub-adviser at the point of acquisition.
