Rightmove LON: RMV reported 7% revenue growth for the first half of 2026, supported by higher average revenue per advertiser, or ARPA, and membership growth in its estate agency business, while softer new-homes development activity weighed on that segment.
Rightmove PLC (LSE:RMV) has announced plans to return more than £400 million to shareholders over the next year, despite cutting its revenue growth forecast as weakness among housebuilders weighed on its New Homes business. The property portal will begin a share buyback programme worth up to £350 million on Monday.
Rightmove delivered 9% revenue growth to £425.1m in 2025, while net profit increased to £217m with 11% EPS growth. Investors remain focused on whether AI could structurally disrupt the platform. However, RTMVF continues to control its proprietary listing inventory, and management disclosed that AI-generated traffic remains below 0.5%. Despite operating with a net cash position and strong cash-flow generation, the company now trades closer to sector-average multiples rather than its historical premium valuation.
