Purpose Marijuana Opportunities Fund is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Purpose Investments Inc. It invests in public equity markets of global region. It invests in stocks of companies operating across marijuana and marijuana related businesses, including research and development and other ancillary businesses to the marijuana industry sectors. It invests in growth stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund employs fundamental analysis with bottom-up and top-down stock picking approach to create its portfolio. It does not invest in stocks of companies operating across medical and/or recreational cannabis industries in the United States unless and until such time as these activities become permitted, tobacco, private prison owners, operators, and providers of integral services, civilian firearm manufacturers, fossil fuels, manufacturers of controversial weapons or components sectors. Purpose Marijuana Opportunities Fund was formed on May 11, 2017 and is domiciled in Canada.
