WisdomTree Carbon is an exchange-traded commodity that provides exposure to the price of European Union carbon emission allowances through futures-based strategies. The product is structured as a debt security in the form of an exchange-traded commodity and is issued by WisdomTree Commodity Securities Limited. It seeks to track the Solactive Carbon Emission Allowances Rolling Futures Total Return Index, which reflects the performance of ICE EUA (European Union Allowances) futures, including price movements, contract rolls, and collateral return. Using a synthetic, fully funded swap structure, WisdomTree Carbon offers investors an instrument linked to the carbon credits market without requiring direct participation in emissions trading schemes. The ETC is fully collateralised, UCITS eligible, and domiciled in Jersey, with exposure denominated in euros and not currency-hedged.
