Youdao: Still A Buy On Earnings Breakthrough And Potential Buyback Resumption
I'm maintaining a Buy rating on Youdao after evaluating its 2Q25 results beat and the management commentary on cash distributions. DAO achieved its maiden Q2 positive earnings, and has now posted four consecutive profitable quarters signaling favorable momentum. The company has committed to completing its existing buyback program that expires in November '25, and also mentioned the possibility of initiating a new one.
