Overview

EarthFirst Technologies, Incorporated is a company dedicated to the development and commercialization of advanced technologies for the production of alternative fuel sources and the remediation of waste, both solid and liquid. Originally established under the name Toups Technology Licensing, Inc., the company underwent a name change to EarthFirst Technologies, Incorporated in May 2000. Since its inception in 1997, EarthFirst has been working towards innovative solutions for environmental challenges, leveraging subsidiaries like the World Environmental Solutions Company, Inc., and SolarDiesel Corporation. However, the journey has not been without its struggles. On June 13, 2008, EarthFirst Technologies, along with its affiliates, sought reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa. This reorganization process led to the approval of a liquidation plan for the company. EarthFirst Technologies is headquartered in Tampa, Florida, and before filing for bankruptcy, it provided a wide range of environmental and construction-related services and products across the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Products and Services

• Solid Waste Remediation Plant

This plant represented EarthFirst's focus on the commercialization of technology designed to mitigate and process solid waste. The technology aimed at addressing the global challenge of solid waste accumulation by converting waste into usable forms of energy or other beneficial products.

• Electrical Contracting and Subcontracting Services

Primarily serving the Florida and Caribbean markets, EarthFirst offered electrical contracting for commercial, residential, and municipal projects. This aspect of their operations served to complement their technology-driven services by facilitating the physical implementation of electrical components in construction projects.

• Biofuels Production

Via its subsidiary, SolarDiesel Corporation, EarthFirst ventured into the biofuels market, producing and distributing fuels derived from palm oil, soy, and rapeseed. This operation was geographically diverse, spanning the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe, indicating EarthFirst's commitment to offering renewable energy solutions on a global scale.

• High-Temperature Plasma Liquid Waste Treatment Technology

In its commitment to environmental preservation, EarthFirst developed technology for the treatment of liquid waste products.
