Risk-on: Pound to Dollar Exchange Rate Climbs on Ceasefire Relief
The Pound to Dollar (GBP/USD) exchange rate has strengthened to 1.3416 (+0.1%), breaking above previous resistance levels as the dollar weakened following confirmation of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran. The pair has moved decisively higher from the 1.32 area seen earlier in the week as markets unwind defensive dollar.
