Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) has provided an update on the Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in Colorado, USA, where the production facility has now reached substantial completion and commissioning is due to begin this week. Helium One said the gathering system has been successfully pressure tested and tied in to the production facility.
Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) has begun a new phase of work at its southern Rukwa project in Tanzania as it readies for flow-rate testing that could determine the commercial potential of its discovery well. The company said it had started operations ahead of installing an electrical submersible pump, or ESP, a device used to lift fluids to the surface and boost flow.
Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) audited results for the twelve months to 30 June, released today, highlighted progress across its Tanzania and US assets, with chair James Smith calling it a "significant and successful year". In the period, the exploration company confirmed a helium discovery at the southern Rukwa project following an extended well test at the ITW-1 well, which recorded sustained helium concentrations above 5%.

Helium One Global Ltd specializes in the exploration and production of helium gas, a critical resource for various high-tech, scientific, and industrial applications. The company boasts a significant project portfolio within Tanzania, encompassing the Rukwa, Eyasi, and Balangida projects, which in total cover an expansive area of roughly 2,965 square kilometers. Established in 2015 and headquartered in Tortola, the British Virgin Islands, Helium One Global Ltd is positioned to serve a diverse range of industries with its high-potential helium gas projects. The strategic location of its projects in Tanzania leverages the region's favorable geological conditions for helium gas accumulation and positions the company as a potentially key player in the global helium supply chain.
Rukwa Project:
Occupying approximately 1,899 square kilometers in southwestern Tanzania, the Rukwa project is the flagship venture of Helium One Global Ltd. This project is distinguished by its extensive prospecting licenses, positioning the company to tap into significant helium gas reserves. The Rukwa project's focus is on exploring and potentially producing helium to meet the demands of industries reliant on this scarce and valuable gas.
Eyasi Project:
With three prospecting licenses spanning approximately 807 square kilometers in north central Tanzania, the Eyasi project is another critical component of Helium One's portfolio. This project aims to explore helium gas reserves in an area known for its geological attributes conducive to helium accumulation. The Eyasi project represents a strategic effort by Helium One to diversify its exploration activities and bolster its resource base.
Balangida Project:
The Balangida project, covering about 259 square kilometers in north central Tanzania, complements the company's exploration portfolio. Although it is the smallest of the three, this project holds the potential for significant helium discoveries. With a single prospecting license, the Balangida project reflects Helium One Global Ltd's targeted approach to resource exploration, focusing on areas with high geological prospectivity for helium deposits.
