ICCC's Q2 sales rise 11.5% y/y, but margins contract. A $2-million legal settlement boosts profit as the company plans a capacity expansion.
ImmuCell NASDAQ: ICCC reported higher second-quarter sales and earnings as domestic demand for its calf scours prevention products increased, while the company outlined plans to invest about $8 million to more than triple manufacturing capacity by the end of 2027.
ImmuCell's main value driver is First Defense. In my view, this is their core franchise and has real commercial momentum across year-round dairy customers. They've also shown improving manufacturing yields and redirected Re-Tain assets towards First Defense's production capacity. ICCC reports an 11.5% rise in preliminary Q2 sales, driven by robust U.S. demand and improved product availability, extending the momentum from its strong Q1 performance.
ImmuCell's premium valuation is backed by rising output, First Defense share gains and a sizable untapped calf-health market opportunity.
ICCC posts record Q1 sales and 34% earnings growth as demand for its First Defense calf-health products boosts margins and market share.
ImmuCell NASDAQ: ICCC reported a record first quarter of 2026, with management saying the company's narrowed focus on its First Defense calf scours prevention portfolio helped drive its first-ever quarter above $10 million in product sales.
