PLNILS denotes the exchange rate between the Polish Zloty (PLN) and the Israeli New Shekel (ILS), showing how many shekels are required to buy one zloty. It functions as the quoted bilateral price used in foreign-exchange markets and cross-border currency conversions involving Poland and Israel.

The Polish Zloty (PLN) is Poland’s national currency and the primary medium of exchange across the country. It is issued and regulated by Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP), which is responsible for implementing monetary policy, issuing banknotes and coins, and maintaining financial stability.

The Israeli New Shekel (ILS) serves as the legal tender of Israel and is used in domestic transactions and international trade involving Israeli counterparties. The Bank of Israel manages issuance of the shekel, sets monetary policy, and oversees currency reserves and financial-system stability.
