XLMedia shares sink as wind-up plans expose sore spot
Digital media company XLMedia PLC (AIM:XLM, OTC:XLMDF) took a nosedive on London's AIM junior market on Monday as the businesses' winding up plans revealed a sore spot for investors. The business is in the process of returning cash to its shareholders through a tender offer as it transforms into a non-trading cash shell.
XLMedia flies higher on plans to divest North America operations
Shares in sports and gaming digital media company XLMedia PLC (AIM:XLM, OTC:XLMDF) flew 39% higher on Monday in response to a proposed divestment of its North America business. Under the plans, XLMedia has entered into a $30 million deal with Switzerland-based sports data business Sportradar, pending approval at a November general meeting.
