High-earnings-yield value stocks CGAU, PAGP, ANGI and SKIL stand out as Trump-led trade threats and geopolitical risks keep markets volatile.
Here at Zacks, our focus is on the proven Zacks Rank system, which emphasizes earnings estimates and estimate revisions to find great stocks. Nevertheless, we are always paying attention to the latest value, growth, and momentum trends to underscore strong picks.
Angi (ANGI) is initiated at a buy, offering exposure to a deeply undervalued small-cap with expanding profitability amid strategic transformation. ANGI's shift to homeowner choice has reduced leads and revenue but improved hire rates, pro win rates, and churn, positioning the platform for long-term gains. Despite revenue declining -10% y/y, adjusted EBITDA rose 12% to $39.7M, with margins expanding 300bps to 14.9%.

Welcome to the Angi Inc. Third Quarter 2025 Earnings Conference Call.
While the top- and bottom-line numbers for Angi (ANGI) give a sense of how the business performed in the quarter ended September 2025, it could be worth looking at how some of its key metrics compare to Wall Street estimates and year-ago values.
Angi (ANGI) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.23 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.33 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.7 per share a year ago.
Shares of Angi are down nearly 25% in the past month despite investors initially reacting favorably to Q2 results. Management has intentionally shed lower quality revenue, helping maintain earnings this year, despite considerably lower overall revenue. I see a return to mid single growth next year, along with margin expansion.
From a technical perspective, Angi (ANGI) is looking like an interesting pick, as it just reached a key level of support. ANGI recently overtook the 20-day moving average, and this suggests a short-term bullish trend.

The Angi Inc. proprietary channel growth is encouraging, as it signals that they should be able to achieve higher average revenue per lead and that the homeowner's choice model is taking hold. They do expect the network channel declines to slow down as well, so with the AR lever still to be fully pulled, they should be able to start growing toplines. Macro is still a consideration, and they are still in the throes of their restructuring, but ANGI results should become a less noisy picture of their homeowner's choice model.
Following Angi's spin-off, Joey Levin gave up more than $100 M in IAC shares to lead Angi, signaling strong personal conviction in Angi's future potential. Post-spin off, Barry Diller holds 7% of Angi shares. This reminds me of the Host Marriott/Marriott International story in Joel Greenblatt's book. Angi started its turnaround in 2022 with a focus on cutting low-margin operations and improving customer experience.
