BlackBerry CEO John Giamatteo told CNBC that robotics is one of the fastest-growing businesses in the company's QNX software portfolio. QNX is embedded in 275 million vehicles and has a roughly $950 million royalty backlog, part of which comes from robotics, the company said.
In the most recent trading session, BlackBerry (BB) closed at $7.65, indicating a -4.85% shift from the previous trading day.
BB's QNX growth, margin gains and raised outlook strengthen its case as APTV faces guidance cuts, launch delays and China auto-market pressure.
