CoreWeave ( NASDAQ:CRWV ) stock has lost over half of its value since peaking at $187 per share last June amid doubts about its high valuation and concerns over artificial intelligence (AI) growth slowing.
Maintaining my bullish thesis on CoreWeave, Inc., with risk/reward still leaning favorably, despite recent setbacks and execution risks. CRWV's long-term thesis hinges on scaling responsibly, with revenue expected to grow from $12B in 2024 to $29B by FY2028. We are still early in this massive growth phase. Negative free cash flow margins are projected to improve to -2.8% by FY2028, although execution uncertainties are still front and center.
CoreWeave's growth is real, but it is being financed by leverage while free cash flow remains deeply negative. Growth risk has shifted from demand uncertainty to the timing mismatch between infrastructure buildout and cash generation. Leverage has risen to roughly 18 billion dollars of debt, compressing interest coverage toward stressed levels.

CoreWeave rents Nvidia GPUs via bare-metal clusters, avoiding virtualization overhead; stock is 57% off highs as debt fears dominate despite AI demand today still. Agentic AI could create a compute floor: autonomous software runs nonstop, driving persistent inference workloads, expanding TAM toward $200B and 43% CAGR for years ahead. Capacity is the catalyst: 590 MW active power and 2.9 GW contracted pipeline could come online within 12 to 24 months, accelerating 2026 revenues far above consensus.
CRWV outpaces NBIS in the AI cloud race on scale and backlog, but leverage, supply delays and lowered guidance raise questions about its growth path.
Figma could continue to pull developers away from Adobe. CoreWeave will lock in more AI companies with its cloud-based GPUs.
Artificial intelligence is driving explosive demand for computing power as companies invest heavily to develop and deploy AI models.
CoreWeave, Inc. is rated a Buy, offering high-risk, high-reward exposure to AI infrastructure with a unique Nvidia partnership and rapid revenue growth. CRWV's business model leverages AI-native GPU data centers, providing technical and speed advantages over legacy hyperscalers and neocloud competitors. Revenue surged 205% to $3.6B YTD, but high debt ($14.2B) and customer concentration (67% from Microsoft) present significant risks.
