Lucid's Q3 results highlighted ongoing struggles, with large losses and cash burn continuing to pile up. The Gravity SUV is launching this quarter, creating high revenue growth expectations for 2025. Despite anticipated revenue growth, Lucid's high price to sales ratio makes it an expensive stock, especially compared to peers like Rivian, XPeng, and traditional automakers.
Lucid said its Gravity SUV is on track to start production this year. The company also said its quarterly loss–it still loses money on the cars it produces–was smaller than expected.
Lucid Group Inc's (NASDAQ:LCID) stock rose 5% in after-hours trading after the electric vehicle maker slightly exceeded third-quarter forecasts, despite widening losses.
